On October 13, 2011 the Freeborn County Sheriff's Patrol Sergeants became the first group to become members of MNPEA!
There are more then a dozen other groups poised to do the same in the next few weeks!

The last comment from Anonymous is actually Teamster Joint Council 32 DRIVE representative Edward Reynoso. Mr. Reynoso also sits on the Minnesota Met Council.
On October 28, 2011, my shop, the Hennepin County Detention Deputies, decertified Teamsters Local 320, as did the Washington County corrections officers, Albert Lea PD and Freeborn County. All went to the Minnesota Public Employees Association.
Ed, I'm glad my dues will no longer support your $115,000 a year salary. Unfortunately, my taxes will still pay your $38,000 a year part time job on the Met Council.
