If the Sheriff is trying to get us more money so we can get some of the guys out of the jail/courts to do some real law enforcement work, who really cares what he does to get the money as long as it doesn't negatively affect his employees! At least he is working at getting HCSO more money!
Feel free to hit up some more people for money, but the idea here is to stay out of the press!
I have no problem with how the Sheriff gets money for the department. These items are posted here because they are related to our workplace and therefore newsworthy to publish. I hope we're flush with money come contract time.
P.S. since when is jailing not law enforcement? Not only is it law enforcement,it is a constitutional mandate of the Sheriff!
