After months of work the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office will once again be participating in the Veterans OJT (On the Job Training) Program.
The program will now be available to BOTH Detention and Licensed Deputies and will be offered to all Veterans during their orientation at the jail.
The program may (they're checking) be available to current Veterans who are still on probation retroactive from the official start date of the program which should be in the near future.
THE HENNEPIN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WILL NOW BE THE ONLY SHERIFF'S OFFICE IN MINNESOTA PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROGRAM!
Other departments participating are the Minneapolis PD and St. Paul PD.
